Jesus said that those who will be considered worthy to enter His eternal kingdom will be those who have proven their love for Him by their love for the "least of these" among His brethren (see Matt. 25:31-46). I Was Hungry provides opportunities for true followers of Christ to show their love for their spiritual family around the world by meeting their very pressing needs, and is the humanitarian arm of Heaven's Family. Through personal contact with trusted Christian leaders around the world, we are able to efficiently assist fellow followers of Christ who are facing severe hardships.

I Was Hungry is a ministry of service---to suffering believers, and to those who want to help them. 100% of everything we receive is used to meet pressing needs around the world. Our administrative costs are provided by donations to the general fund to our parent ministry, Heaven's Family.

The King will answer and say to them, "Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of these, you did it to Me."(Matt. 25:40)
