Cuban House Churches
There is revival in Cuba, and you can help it spread by purchasing a home where a pastor can live and a congregation can meet.

Cuban House Churches

When Fidel Castro took power in Cuba in 1959, one of his first acts against the church was to enact a law against the construction of any new church buildings. Christians could, however, legally meet in their homes. Thus a wonderful house church movement was unwittingly launched by Castro! Since then, thousands of homes have been constructed or modified that consist of a small living area for a pastor and his family and a living room full of pews. Many congregations have grown to hundreds of members. And revival is spreading across the island. Cuba's population is about 10% on-fire evangelical Christian.

The average income in Cuba is ten to twenty dollars per month, so purchasing their own house church is an enormous challenge for Cuban pastors. You can take part in spreading the Cuban revival by helping a needy pastor purchase his own house church. It can cost as little at $500 for a home in a rural area.

Above is one such house church pastor with his family in front of their church. Click the "video" link above to learn about their story.
